Chitinimonas lacunae Yang et al. 2017, sp. nov.
Type strain: (see also StrainInfo.net) H2=KCTC 52574=LMG 29894.
Sequence accession no. (16S rRNA gene) for the type strain: KX886358.
Etymology: L. fem. gen. n. lacunae, of a pond; referring to the isolation of the type strain). Cells are gram-negative, non-motile, and rod-shaped (0.3 to 0.4  μm in diameter and 1.1 to 1.4  μm in length.
