Wolinella Tanner et al. 1981, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Wolinella succinogenes (Wolin et al. 1961) Tanner et al. 1981.
Etymology: N.L. fem. dim. n. Wolinella, named after M.J. Wolin, American bacteriologist who first isolated the type species.
