Type order: ¤ Synergistales Jumas-Bilak et al. 2009.
Etymology: N.L. n. Synergistes, type genus of the type order of the class; suff. -ia, ending to denote a class; N.L. fem. pl. n. Synergistia, the Synergistales class.
