Valid publication: BEHRENDT (U.), ULRICH (A.), SCHUMANN (P.), NAUMANN (D.) and SUZUKI (K.): Diversity of grass-associated Microbacteriaceae isolated from the phyllosphere and litter layer after mulching the sward; polyphasic characterization of Subtercola pratensis sp. nov., Curtobacterium herbarum sp. nov. and Plantibacter flavus gen. nov., sp. nov. Int. J. Syst. Evol. Microbiol., 2002, 52, 1441-1454.

Note: While the paper by Behrendt et al. 2002 was being reviewed, Evtushenko et al. 2001 [1] proposed a novel genus, ¤ Agreia, which showed chemotaxonomic features corresponding to those of Subtercola pratensis. As a consequence, a necessary reclassification of Subtercola pratensis is in preparation [2].
