Type species: ¤ Snuella lapsa Yi and Chun 2011.
Etymology: N.L. fem. dim. n. Snuella, arbitrary name derived from the acronym of the Seoul National University, SNU, where this taxon was studied.
Valid publication: YI (H.) and CHUN (J.): Snuella lapsa gen. nov., sp. nov., isolated from tidal flat sediment. Int. J. Syst. Evol. Microbiol., 2011, 61, 2469-2474.
