Type species: ¤ Paradevosia shaoguanensis Geng et al. 2015.
Etymology: Gr. prep. para, next to, resembling; N.L. fem. adj. Devosia, a bacterial genus; N.L. fem. adj. Paradevosia, next to the genus Devosia.
