Nubsella Asker et al. 2008, gen. nov.
Type species: ¤ Nubsella zeaxanthinifaciens Asker et al. 2008.
Etymology: N.L. fem. dim. n. Nubsella, arbitrary name derived from the acronym NUBS for Nihon University College of Bioresource Sciences, where the type species was first isolated.
Valid publication: ASKER (D.), BEPPU (T.) and UEDA (K.): Nubsella zeaxanthinifaciens gen. nov., sp. nov., a zeaxanthin-producing bacterium of the family Sphingobacteriaceae isolated from freshwater. Int. J. Syst. Evol. Microbiol., 2008, 58, 601-606.

Etymology: N.L. neut. n. zeaxanthinum, zeaxanthin; L. part. pres. faciens, making/producing; N.L. part. adj. zeaxanthinifaciens, zeaxanthin-producing.
