Type species: ¤ Libanicoccus massiliensis Bilen et al. 2018.
Etymology: Fr. n. Liban, the French word for Lebanon; N.L. masc. n. coccus (from Gr. masc. n. kokkos, grain, seed), a coccus; N.L. masc. n. Libanicoccus, intended to mean a coccus isolated by a person from Lebanon.
