Type genus: ¤ Eubacterium Prévot 1938 (Approved Lists 1980).
Etymology: N.L. neut. n. Eubacterium, type genus of the order; suff. -ales, ending denoting an order; N.L. fem. pl. n. Eubacteriales, the Eubacterium order.
