Chromobacterieae Winslow et al. 1920, tribus.
Type genus: ¤ Chromobacterium Bergonzini 1880 (Approved Lists 1980).
Etymology: N.L. neut. n. Chromobacterium, type genus of the tribe; suff. -eae, ending to denote a tribe; N.L. fem. pl. n. Chromobacterieae, the Chromobacterium tribe.
