Type order: ¤ Acidobacteriales Cavalier-Smith 2002.
Etymology: N.L. fem. pl. n. Acidobacteriales, type order of the class; suff. -ia, ending to denote a class; N.L. neut. pl. n. Acidobacteria, the Acidobacteriales class.
